Here at Pressed Bouquet Shop, we want you to receive the best products for you. While looking at our website, you may have come up with a million ideas of just which frame will work over your mantle, which tray shape will best suit your dining area. Maybe you just heard of us and have no idea where to start! Well, there is no need to worry, because our talented team is here to help! With any Pressed Bouquet Shop experience, you are entitled to a complimentary consultation

Are you one of our clients with an eye for design, or a specific vision? The Peony Experience may be just up your alley! If you need help deciding which PBS Experience is right for you, check out our blog post from earlier this year, where we lay out the details of each. If you decide to go the Peony route, you will receive two separate consultations. The first, like our complimentary consultation, will be with Nikole, our Client Relations Manager. The next will be with our talented Creative Manager, Jenni, whose keen sense of design will help take your preservation pieces to the next level.

No matter what you go with, you and your blooms will be in capable hands! Following is a description of what you can expect from each consultation, to help you decide which route is best for you!

Complimentary Consultations

Our client relations manager, Nikole, going over preservation options with a client during their consultation.

Before placing your order, you may have the option of receiving a complimentary consultation. You can tell us all about what you’re looking for, and our client relations team will help to guide you in the right direction for you and your preservation pieces. If you’re one of our local brides, you’ll have the option to visit our showroom for your meeting, where you will have a chance to see all kinds of frame and resin pieces on display. If you’re meeting over Zoom, our client relations team will be ready to hold up examples of anything and everything you can think of as you plan the perfect frame color for your walls or which of our functional resin products you’ll give to your bridesmaids. During the consultation, you will go over our bundle deals, frame sizes, and the different resin offerings. You can also discuss any items you might like to see preserved alongside your florals, such as lace or a cake topper.

When you’ve made your selections at your in-person consultation, your order can be placed then and there at our store. At your virtual consultation, you will be instructed on how to place your order through our website. You will receive instructions and information about shipping your bouquet to us. Then, enjoy your wedding! Once your flowers are in our hands, we will work our magic and return them to yours, just as beautiful as the day they were walking you down the aisle.

Peony Consultations

Our creative manager, Jenni, going over the client's design specifications during a Peony design consultation.

If you have decided to add on the Peony experience, you are probably excited to get hands on with your design! This begins at the initial consultation. This may take place prior to or after the wedding, depending on when you placed your order, but it is typically done after the order has been placed. During this conversation with our infinitely knowledgeable Client Relations Manager, Nikole, she will make sure your order has everything you want in it. If you have any questions or want to make any changes to colors, sizes, or quantities, she will be there to assist. She will also be happy to show examples, so you can truly picture what you’re going to be receiving. She will reassure you of any concerns you may have and will go over shipping instructions carefully. When you wrap up with her, she will send an email summing up everything discussed, which you can easily refer back to at any point in your order.

Once you’ve completed the initial Peony consultation, said your vows, and your flowers are with us and pressed, you will have a chance to speak with our Creative Manger, Jenni. With her incredible artistic skill, she will help to make the designs of your dreams come to life. You will also have the opportunity to tell her about your special day, to give her an idea of what you loved about your wedding. You can give key words like “romantic” or “dreamy”, which will help to inform the design style of your preservation pieces

Jenni will show you your flowers all together and one of each type of flower, so you can get a sense of what they look like. You can ask any questions, tell her which flowers you like the most and want to have standing out, or choose to leave out any that don’t speak to your vision.

This is also another opportunity to add any items to your order, now that you’ve had a chance to look at your pressed blooms. After the consultation, you will receive an email containing a summation of all you’ve spoken about with Jenni, as well as an invoice for any additional items.

Once you’re happy with the direction your preservation pieces are headed in, Jenni will sign off, ready to start working on your first round of proofs. With the Peony Experience, you are able to make some edits to your designs. Within two weeks of your design consultation, you will be sent the first proof. If you love it– perfect! Jenni will finish it up and send it out. If there’s anything amiss- no worries! Jenni will make the needed corrections and send another proof. You can make any final changes at this point, and then your designs will be finalized. If you are a Peony client, your preservation pieces will be sent to the front of the production line, and sent out as soon as they are done. All throughout the process, you have the PBS team at your disposal, should you have any questions.
