16x20 Flower Burst | Bouquet Preservation Frame

This is the piece most of our clients picture when they first think about saving their flowers. A full 16x20 frame with room for everything you carried: the focal roses, the greenery, the tiny filler stems, the one bloom your florist added at the last minute. Our Burst design presses your flowers mostly face forward and arranges them radiating out from the center, so the finished piece reads as your bouquet, reimagined as wall art.

You build this frame the way you want it. Pick one of seven solid wood finishes, choose a floating glass or archival background in one of six colors, and decide whether the piece hangs vertical or horizontal. We take care of the rest in our Easton, Pennsylvania studio.

How it works

1. Reserve your frame. Choose your wood, background, and orientation here, or design it in the Customizer Studio.

2. Send us your flowers. We email shipping instructions right away. Your bouquet needs to reach our studio within five business days of your event, and we recommend an overnight prepaid label so nothing is left to chance.

3. We press, cure, and design. Every flower is pressed and dried in our studio, cured for several weeks, and inspected before it reaches the design table. Then your artist lays out the Burst composition by hand.

4. It arrives ready to hang. Packaged for the wall, with a note about caring for the flowers inside.

Choosing your background

Floating glass lets your wall color show through and suits almost any palette. White and Natural read clean and classic. Slate and Navy make pastels and whites glow. Olive and Wine are for the bride who wants the piece to feel like a painting. If your bouquet is mostly white, we suggest floating glass so the flowers never compete with a white board behind them, or a natural background to allow an elegant and classic blend of color.

One bouquet, more than one piece

Your bouquet has more flowers in it than a single frame needs. Most clients pair this 16x20 with a smaller piece from the same flowers: a 6x6 for the boutonniere, a ring dish, or a set of coasters. If you want two or more pieces, our preservation packages bundle them to include a free prepaid overnight shipping label.

Questions brides ask

How much of my bouquet fits in a 16x20? Nearly all of it, but we will always be sure to include a balance of every type of flower and green. This is the size we recommend when your goal is a full representation of the bouquet, including greenery and filler.

What does “Burst” mean? It is our most popular design style. Flowers are pressed mostly face forward and arranged to radiate outward from the center, recreating the silhouette of your bouquet. We also offer Field and Handheld styles if you prefer a different look.

Will my flowers change color? Yes, some shift is natural. Whites can soften to golden and deep reds can darken. These shifts will continue to happen over the years, but our UV resistant glass slows this considerably. Read our color change guide for flower by flower expectations.

Can I preserve a bouquet that is already dried? Not in a frame. Dried flowers are too brittle to press flat. They can become dried petal confetti resin pieces instead.

How soon after the wedding do my flowers need to arrive? Within five business days. Keep the stems in water and the bouquet somewhere cool and dark until it ships.

Do you offer proofing or design input? Yes. Our Luxury Proofing Service adds a design collaboration step with your artist before the piece is sealed.
