Memorial Flower Preservation

At Element Preservation, we believe that holding onto precious memories matters deeply. We most often have the joy of creating works of art that help our couples reflect on the happiest day of their lives, and we love being even a small part of someone’s celebration. Flowers hold a great deal of significance, not only to those most happy events, but also to more somber times of remembrance. We have recently expanded our offerings to include the preservation of funeral and memorial flowers through custom frame and resin pieces. We want all of our clients to know that they have put their florals in the best hands, regardless of the event.

Memories Held: Pressed Flowers As a Symbol of a Loved One Lost

There is a long standing tradition of gifting flowers to those who are grieving, and these blooms can act as reminders of a departed loved one. Though the bringing of flowers to a funeral or wake once served a practical purpose, the tradition has flourished over time. Today, flowers are the most common gift sent to those in mourning, and arrangements are created to grace the spaces we use to say goodbye.

The sentimental importance of the flowers gifted in the wake of a loss is impossible to quantify. We see these as a tribute to a life, each blossom as unique and special as the person no longer with us. When these flowers are preserved, it gives an opportunity to the people closest to the departed to recollect on their loved one. These flowers can be made into thoughtful tributes to the departed. They can become comforting gifts that can be shared amongst a family or group of friends. After the memorial, when it's time to take the flowers home, the team at Element can transform the fresh flowers into a lasting work of art for loved ones to admire for the years to come. Framed floral art can act as a centerpiece in the home, and be a beacon in times of grief. Coasters and small frames can easily be gifted, and any of our pieces can have items such as prayer cards and photographs placed within the design if you so choose.

Experts in Preserved Funeral Flowers

Our entire team always takes great care with any flowers sent our way, and memorial flowers are handled delicately and with compassion. We understand that these flowers in particular are irreplaceable as far as the significance they hold. Funeral flowers pass through our pressing, quality, and design departments with a full understanding at each stage of their original purpose and the importance of keeping them in the very best condition.

If you place an order for memorial pieces, be assured that you can choose your level of involvement with the process.

  • Tulip Experience (complimentary service level)

    • Some clients may appreciate the ability to be hands off, only being reached out to when the preservation is completed and ready to be picked up or sent home. This level of involvement is what we offer with our signature Tulip Experience, which is included with every order made. This experience level also gives the opportunity to have a 15 minute consultation with our Director of External Communications, Nikole, wherein you can lay out any ideas you have, or even tell us about the person you lost.
  • Peony Experience (elite service level)

    • If you would like more involvement, we also offer the Peony Experience, which allows you more time in a consultation with Nikole, as well as the ability to speak with our design team and see proofs of the pieces. You can make changes to the design as it goes, allowing the artwork to truly reflect your personal tastes and sentiments, or those of others if the order is being dispersed. The Peony Experience allows for a faster turnaround time as well, which means your floral art can be returned to you in a few months.

We at Element Preservation hope to be a part of the happiest seasons of our clients’ lives, but know that we are here for those difficult times as well. We will alway prioritize creating pieces for our clients that bring them a rush of joy, and we feel immensely privileged when the work we do can be in honor of someone loved and lost. We hope that memorial flower preservation pieces can act as a reminder of the memories shared between people, even when one is no longer with us.
