A Mountaintop Wedding, a Meaningful Bouquet, and the Bridesmaids Who Made Sure It Would Last Forever
Some pieces arrive at our studio with a story we can feel before we even read the note. Rachel’s was one of them.
Rachel and her husband, Ryan, were married on July 19, 2025, at Mount Snow in Vermont, a place that had been part of both of their families long before the wedding. Their ceremony was outdoors, with the Green Mountains stretched out behind them. The reception followed inside Carinthia Lodge, where big garage doors blurred the line between inside and out, and the energy never dropped. Her husband’s college band kicked off the night, a live band carried it through, and the kind of dancing that only happens when your whole world is in one room took care of the rest.
But before any of that, before the vows, before the first dance, there was the chairlift.
Rachel and her wedding party rode to the summit of Mount Snow for photos, bouquets in hand. Every one of the girls brought their flowers with them on the lift. It’s one of those details that sounds small when you describe it, but when you picture it (a line of women in gowns holding bouquets on a ski chairlift with nothing but mountain air around them) it becomes something you don’t forget.

The Bouquet
Rachel’s bouquet was green and white: eucalyptus leaves, white roses, delphiniums, grasses, and other soft white blooms. But the flowers that anchored it were white hydrangeas, chosen in memory of a neighbor she’d grown up near who had always kept hydrangeas in her garden. That neighbor had passed away, and carrying those blooms was Rachel’s quiet way of bringing her along.
Her Maid of Honor added one more layer: a charm with a photo of Rachel and her grandmother, tied around the stems.
This was not a bouquet that was ever going to just dry out on a shelf.

The Gift
What Rachel didn’t know was that her bridesmaids had already taken care of everything.
She’d added our resin serving tray to her wedding registry, a piece she’d been eyeing for a while. A few weeks before the wedding, she found out her bridesmaids had purchased it for her. Her Maid of Honor coordinated everything behind the scenes and made sure the flowers were shipped to our studio on time.
Rachel chose the rectangular resin serving tray with gold handles and added her husband’s boutonniere (a white rose from his lapel) into the tray alongside her bouquet. It’s a detail we love: both of their flowers, together in one piece, exactly as they were that day.

The Unboxing
When the finished tray arrived, Rachel didn’t even take her shoes off after work before opening the box. Her husband stood right there watching.
“It brought back all the memories from that day,” she told us. “Such gratitude for our florist, and so much love for my bridesmaids who gifted it. I was in awe and couldn’t stop staring at it all night.”
The piece now lives on the ottoman in their living room. It’s the centerpiece of the space. Rachel says it makes for a great story over a glass of wine with friends.
That’s exactly what preservation is supposed to do. Not just save the flowers, but keep the conversation going.
